NHAI signs pact for trilateral project

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) inked a pact for its maiden international project, part of the India-Myanmar-Thailand Trilateral Highway.

KMC Constructions bags NHAI contract

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded contract worth Rs 1,274 crore to KMC Constructions Ltd for development of National Highway section in Himachal Pradesh. According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the development of the crucial 26-km long Nerchowk-Pandoh including Pandoh bypass section of the NH-21 will improve the connectivity for travellers from Chandigarh to the valleys of Kullu and Manali.

L&T Construction bags orders worth Rs.3,343 crore

The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 3,343 crores across various business segments in March 2015.

Dozen bridges to be built in MP at Rs 46 cr

In Bhopal district of Madhya Pradesh, a total of 12 major bridges will be constructed at a cost of over Rs 46 crore over the next 5-6 years. Rs six crore will be spent on construction of a bridge over Bahm river on Berasia-Garha Kalan road. While another Rs 10 crore is earmarked on another bridge on the same river on Jamusar Kalan-Kadhaiyya Shah road.

PM to inaugurate Mughal Road on June 25

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is scheduled to inaugurate the Mughal Road later this month. However, the work on the historical road project connecting Border Districts of Poonch and Rajouri with Kashmir is not fully complete. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the road on June 25.
